1960s
October 1962 Limited-liability company Iwata-Jitsugyo was established by Mitsuru Iwata.
February 1966 The company was reorganized and renamed IWATA LABEL Co., LTD.
Head office and plant(now renamed Aichi plant) were completed.
1970s
October 1971 GALLUS Q33A-type printing machine was introduced.
March 1972 Research and development of colored photograph labels were started.
June 1972 The company was approved for small and medium sized business technology aid by the Nagoya Trade and Industry Bureau.
October 1973 Opened Tokyo Sales Office.
December 1973 The company succeeded in the development of colored photograph labels.
January 1974 Plate-making system was introduced and integrated in-house production organization was established.
March 1974 Presentations of Research Results on Colored Photograph Labels were held.
October 1976 Technical exchange with a European label company started.
March 1977 Management system operated by computers was established.
October 1977 The company became a distributor of the Swiss company Guhl + Scheibler Corporation (now renamed HM Collamat AG) in Japan, and started manufacturing and sales of the GMP labelling system.
The company became a member of FINAT (INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF MANUFACTURERS AND CONVERTERS OF PRESSURE-SENSITIVE AND HEATSEAL MATERIALS ON PAPER AND OTHER BASE MATERIALS).
January 1978 The company joined the Japan Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Association.
May 1978 UV inking system was introduced.
1980s
April 1980 Opened Osaka Sales Office.
May 1983 Head plant (now renamed Aichi plant) was completed in conformity with GMP.
October 1987 The company was designated as an investment target company by Nagoya Small and Medium Investment & Consultation Co., Ltd.
August 1988 New Head Office building was completed.
1990s
September 1991 Former President Mitsuru Iwata was awarded the "Printing Promotion Prize".
October 1992 Creative room (Label Museum) was established.
November 1994 The company was awarded the "Chubu New Business Grand Prize Distinguished Award".
January 1997 Tochigi Plant was completed.
November 1997 Opened Toyama Branch Office (now renamed Toyama Sales Office).
The company was awarded the "Study Center Prize Special Encouragement Award".
2000s
November 2000 The company acquired ISO9001:1996 (JSAQ947) Certificate of Registration.
October 2001 The company acquired ISO14001:1996(JSAE421) Certificate of Registration.
January 2003 Updated ISO9001(JSAQ947) to 2000 version.
January 2004 Opened Akita Sales Office.
March 2004 Certified as "Aichi Quality".
December 2004 Received an award for "Made in Nagoya".
October 2005 Updated ISO14001(JSAE421) to 2004 version.
October 2009 Updated ISO9001(JSAQ947) to 2008 version.
